The Bee Science Show
Ever wondered what the world looks like through the eyes of a bee? 🐝 How do these tiny superheroes use sound and static electricity to gather pollen? Join Dr. Naomi Lavelle for her Bee Science Show, where science meets fun and adventure! Dive into the incredible world of bees, pollination, and seed-spreading with hands-on experiments and exciting surprises. Things might get a little EXPLOSIVE (don’t say we didn’t warn you!), so bring your curiosity and wonder and get ready to be blown away. The Eccentric Energy Show
There'll be balls bouncing, sticks leaping and fireworks popping — energy, live and unleashed. This dynamic, hands-on show pulls the audience right into the action, exploring the many forms energy takes, the wacky things it can do and how it moves from one object, or form, to another.
Watch energy jump from person to person, lighting up and buzzing its way around a circle of hands — proof that energy is always on the move, changing as it goes but never disappearing along the way.
The grand finale puts that concept to the test: a custom-built Eccentric Energy Machine, set in motion to pop a single balloon using as many different types of energy as possible along the way.

Rocket Workshop
Children build their way skyward in this hands-on STEAM workshop, creating a series of flying devices — individually and in groups — that grow in size and impact with every build. Each design uses simple, everyday materials (the kind most of us have at school, at home or lurking in the recycling bin), putting real engineering, crafting and creative problem-solving in children's hands as they build.
Along the way, they'll uncover the science behind flight and aerodynamics, discovering what actually makes something fly. The workshop finishes outdoors, with the children launching their own rockets into the sky.
Age group: For school and library visits, this show best suits children aged eight to 12.
Duration: Approximately 90 minutes.
Venue: this show is best suited to a classroom or library environment (tables and chairs required)

Biodiversity Zine Making Workshop
Every ecosystem has its superheroes — the creatures quietly holding the whole thing together. In this workshop, children discover the biodiversity superheroes living right in their own local area, uncovering the hidden powers that keep a healthy environment running.
Children then choose their favourite superhero species and shine a spotlight on it, creating a mini zine that reveals its story and celebrates its biodiversity superpowers.
There are two ways to build: children can each create their own individual eight-page zine, or the whole group can pool their powers into one bumper 16-page mega zine, with everyone crafting a different page. Either way, the finished zine is something to be proud of — ready to share with their school, families or wider community.
